Before this class, the only thing I knew about stand-up was falling on my face—metaphorically. From day one, Jessica created a space that felt safe, supportive, and just the right amount of terrifying. It pushed me outside my comfort zone in the best way possible. I came in with anxiety and self-doubt, and somehow left with punchlines, stage presence, and the courage to own my voice. If you’re even thinking about trying comedy, take this class. It’s therapy... but with a mic. Now I don't want to leave.

The ability to get up in front of an audience gets easier with practice and precise direction from an accomplished professional like Jessica It’s All Good. This exercise and experience builds confidence which is crucial to anything worth accomplishing in all aspects of both social and professional settings.

When I first thought of doing stand-up comedy, it always scared me. I knew it would be a leap of faith. I was incredibly nervous that I would bomb because it's my first time trying it. I took a leap of faith, taking her class, but she ended up being who I needed as a teacher. She is fun, positive, and accepting. She never makes you feel discouraged to get up there and try to be funny. She was understanding that we were all nervous to get up there and would work with us to create something together. Her energy is infectious and makes you want to get up there just to try it. I am also grateful that I took my first comedy class with a clean female comedian. She never discouraged me and made me feel included in a male-centered industry. I will always be thankful that she was my first comedy teacher. She helped me realize it's okay to be nervous, I just have to do it while being nervous. She helped me check off a goal on my bucket list for many years now. She is a natural at teaching, and I hope everyone takes her class.
